JENNIFERDirector of Brand Operations, Babson College

What industry/job did you come from previously?
Global Marketing and PR Director at a global consulting and executive education firm. Prior to that, I served as a Marketing Director in the financial services industry.

Why did you choose to pursue your career in the higher education sector?
Throughout my career, I have looked for opportunities where I can make a positive impact on the growth and success of an organization. I did not make a conscious decision to pursue a career in higher education; instead, the opportunity to revitalize the marketing organization at Babson was as intriguing as any corporate opportunity.

What’s a normal day like for you?
Hectic! Providing a high level of service and value-added expertise to our internal customers—which in turn enables them to serve our external customers—is our number one priority.

What is the greatest benefit of working in higher education and why?
I work in a beautiful setting. I have the opportunity to make Babson a positive force in the lives of our prospective and current students, as well as alumni, and I am part of an active and varied community where I can contribute my talents and learn from others.

If I had to sum up my job in one word, it would be fulfilling.
